In far cry 5 I had to play a single player campaign alongside coop with my friend so that we could both unlock all of the weapons. Does New Dawn work the same way? If I am playing coop and my friend is hosting, will I have to upgrade prosperity in a single player game in order to access the higher tiers of weapons, explosives, etc?
The Steam page for Far Cry 3 no longer indicates that it will have split screen -- it previously stated that there was a split screen mode in the description. The Steam page also stated "local-coop" on the right hand side. The developers stated in an interview ( here [www.co-optimus.com]) that, "we’re supporting two player split screen on all

Answers. There is a co-op option in the main menu, but its just some missions with waves of enemies that have to kill, not exploring the whole island/story together. Yes. The co-op is four-player and has a separate story that runs parallel to the single player story. It is also set on another island, and plays a lot more linear and on-rails Drops will prob be relative to each person's skills, so a lvl 1 might pick up a gun and it do 20 DMG, whereas a lvl 10 might pick it up and it be 50 DMG. Edit, this is just a guess on how it could be done. If anyone has confirmation one way or another then please let us know. 6. Stev0fromDev0. β€’ 2 yr. ago. Hey everyone, I have heard a lot about how frequent abductions ruin the fun of this game and I wanted to play it in coop with my partner on 2 different PCs. I wanted to install resistance mod to avoid the above issue. I just wanted to confirm if coop works fine with mods and no aspect of coop gets broken due to installing this and other mods. Would gladly hear about it. LAN is still used and it is still a valid concept to this day, Mr. Smartpants. Reasons why less and less new games support its not because LAN is getting somewhat less used because you said it's old, but it's because companies want constant connection to your PC, to monitor your every action in game for statistics
Far Cry 3 would have been an excellent game without its included multiplayer modes, but what's on hand is more than competent. The co-op campaign is a nice diversion, even though it's unable to
Coop Resistance Points. Hey guys, I've joined the campaign of a friend and we played for a couple of hours now. We achieved around 4k Resistance Points in one region and he (the host) is able to buy new weapons like the MP5. In my case the weapons are still locked and the game keeps telling me I have to get a higher Resistance level.
