Biggest positive is the runtime and the amount of episodes, as we get way more time with the contestants. There are more positives than negatives, but the negatives for me weigh pretty heavy. Despite the fact that we get more time with the contestants, the amount of airtime varies GREATLY from contestant to contestant.

The great thing about this is even if the big players go out early as per usual in All-Star seasons, the "lower tier" players are still great characters who can make a season fun. There's really no losing with this season.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation. 13:24 Live in Australia so started watching Survivor with Aus Survivor back in 2016. Have recently gotten right into it and am binging US Survivor for the first time. Aus Survivor is so so good. The gameplay in the season progresses like US Survivor but much quicker. So season 1 is slower then the average US season but it’s still a good watch with The highs of Aussie Survivor are extremely high (2017, CvC2), but the lows can get really low (All Stars, last season) Edit has been super returnee focused but I've enjoyed seeing the second (or third) iteration of each player. If you liked their characters the first time around I would check it out.
