KTM marketed the 1190 Adventure (they now have a 1090 & a 1290) as a dual sport. I'll go down a dirt/gravel road, but even if I had the 'R' model, which has stiffer suspension, dual purpose tires, and a few other offroad features, wouldn't take 500 pounds very far from pavement.

The MSRP of the 2019 KTM 690 Enduro R is $11,799. THE MAIN EVENT. The motor is the star of the show. The torque is unreal! In outright acceleration, it’s fairly impressive, but it’s the roll-on pull that makes the 690 special. When you’re already going 40 or 50 mph, a blip of the throttle has immediate results. The biggest difference between the bikes on the spec sheet is the ground clearance. The Orange bike has 8.6 inches to the 6.6 of the Ducati.
