Have just purchased a 2001 330Ci. While looking for a car, I drove several 2000 323's, 328's and '01 and '02 325's and 330's. Honestly, I did not find a huge difference between the 323, 325 and 328. Now, keep in mind I did not drive them back to back, but sometimes within a couple of hours of each other on the same day.
Is there any difference engine wise between the 330i and the 330ci? Because I have a 330i and an m3 and the difference feels like night and day. Reply
330i->225hp@5900 rpms and 214tq@3500 rpms, compression ratio: 10.2:1. 325i->184hp@6000rpms and 175tq@3500 rpms, compression ratio:10:5:1 Having that been said, for most people the 325i is adequate power, even more so with a manual. Fuel economy isn't a whole lot different between the two and they both take premium.
You can find a full breakdown of features, specs and local pricing for the 430i here on Autoblog and for the M440i here . All prices below include BMW's reasonable $995 destination charge. 4
BMW 330i Touring. $73,300. Both cars have identical standard features but BMW wants $3400 more for the Touring because it has a larger boot. At 495 litres, the Touring’s boot size is 15 litres bigger than the sedan’s. But what that doesn’t tell you is how cavernous the wagon becomes when the rear seats are folded flat giving you 1500
mc. First off.welcome to the board. One quick push of the DSC button turns off traction control (I believe) and will result in the yellow T.C. hazard light illuminating in the dash. If you hold the button for about 3 seconds, the 'brake' light will come on in yellow as well which turns of the DSC. Nick with the Xi can elaborate a little more
